John Dooley, ESQ.

John is a long-time resident of Hampton Roads and graduate of Hickory High School in Chesapeake. He completed his undergraduate degree at James Madison University in English Literature. He taught English Literature at Heritage High School in Newport News for three years prior to attending Regent University School of Law, where he earned the degree of Juris Doctor. As a law student, John interned with the Newport News Commonwealth’s Attorney’s office, and a local law firm in Yorktown. John has also guest lectured on Elder Law and resident’s rights in long-term care facilities. Prior to joining Goff Voltin, John worked with a local firm practicing landlord-tenant law.

John and his family live in Newport News.
